- "You didn't even budge when Breaker transmitted the Chancellor's Chiss linguistic data onto your language memory disc."
"He did? I did not know I even had a language memory disc." - ―Nuru Kungurama and Cleaver
A memory disc,[2] also known as a memory disk, was a type of data storage medium.[3]
Behind the scenes
The memory disc was first introduced in The Game Chambers of Questal, a 1990 roleplaying adventure authored by David R. Deitrick and Jeff McElroy for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2] Refugee, Sean Williams and Shane Dix's 2003 second installment of the Force Heretic trilogy of the Star Wars: The New Jedi Order novel series, later introduced the alternate spelling "memory disk."[3]
