Mehdo's Parlor was a private sabacc parlor operated by a Melitto named Mehdo in 3 ABY out of the backroom of the Domak Refectory, a popular cantina in Kijimi City on the fridge Mid Rim planet Kijimi.

Description

Mehdo's Parlor was a private sabacc parlor operated in a backroom of the The Domak Refectory, a popular cantina in Kijimi City on the fridge Mid Rim planet Kijimi. A Kessel Sabacc table was placed in the corner of the room on a raised section of floor. Several other tables were available around the edges of the room.[1]

History

By 3 ABY.[2] a Melitto named Mehdo began operating the parlor. He also frequently played Kessel Sabacc at the raised table in the corner of the parlor against a Pantoran named Kolimaag and a human Arro.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] a human gambler was invited to play at the parlor but after losing much of his money gambling he decided to try and sell his access card to the parlor at the Kijimi Spaceport in order to afford a ticket home from Kijimi.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of canon. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

During that same year, a gambler named Kay Vess heard about the parlor as a place to play a higher stakes game. After asking around city she was directed to a bartender named Pontik who worked at the Domak Refectory. After initially claiming not to know about it, Pontik directed Vess to human gambler trying to sell his access. Vess managed to catch up with him and purchased the keycard for one hundred credits. She later returned to the parlor where she met Mehdo who invited her to join a game of Kessel Sabacc. Vess would go on to win six hundred credits the materials needed to apply a "Nightfall finish" to an EML-850 light freighter from the game, with Mehdo congratulating her and inviting her back.[1]

Behind the scenes

Mehdo's Parlor appeared in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The name Mehdo's Parlor appeared on the game's databank entry and on the games map.[1]
