The Meatlump Manifesto was the manifesto of Meatlumps, a gang of technology-hating ruffians. Meatlump member Joe had stacks of the book which he hoped to disseminate to potential recruits.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Recruiter Joe tasked a spacer with traveling the galaxy, and handing out the Meatlump Manifesto in order to attract new recruits.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Meatlump Manifesto was an item in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] The Meatlump Manifesto was added to the game as part of the "Meatlumps Theme Park", introduced with "Chapter 10: The Search for the Meatlump King," released on June 19, 2008.[4]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
