Maximillian Seerdon was an Imperial commander who worked in the Intelligence Division of the Imperial Security Bureau. His father was Moff Kohl Seerdon, who arranged for him to receive his high-ranking position.
A few months following the Battle of Yavin, Seerdon compiled various reports of threats to the Galactic Empire to present to Emperor Palpatine. He conferred with Grand Vizier Sate Pestage, who in turn presented the reports to the Emperor.
Impressed with Seerdon's findings, Palpatine granted him a private retreat on a Deep Core luxury world, possibly Byss.
