Max McCoy is a professional sound designer and studio artist who worked with The Walt Disney Company for nearly 10 years, operating primarily out of Portland, Oregon. In September 2015 McCoy became a technical sound designer with both Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, as well as Disney Interactive, being promoted to senior audio coordinator with the latter shortly thereafter.[1] During this time he would work on the 2017 Star Wars: Jedi Challenges augmented/virtual relaity experience, serving as a technical studio artist on the project and working closely with audio director Nick Gallant.[3]
McCoy would stop working with Disney Parks in September 2020, but would begin as a technical studio artist with EA DICE's[1] Los Angeles branch, Ripple Effect Studios,[2] that same month. He would be promoted to a remote senior technical studio artist in June of 2023, but would leave both Disney Interactive and DICE exactly a year later, and with that would cease potential work on any and all Star Wars-related projects, now employed with the game studio Worlds Untold as of mid 2024.[1]
