Mawshock

Mawshock referred to the death of a mynock when suddenly exposed to the vacuum of space after living in an exogorth's mouth, when the exogorth came out from its asteroid shell. While mynocks were generally immune to the dangers of outer space, the sudden transition from the warm, semi-gaseous interior of the space slug to the cold vacuum of space could fatally shock the creatures.^[1]
