The Maw Scatter Gun was a scatter gun owned by the Trandoshan Hunter Charr that he could wield for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to his standard slugthrower. This rather ordinary looking black gun was accentuated by what appeared to be seaweed sprouting glowing orbs wrapped around it,^[1] similar in appearance to the vegetation found among the swamps of the planet Rodia.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Maw Scatter Gun was a "Legendary" rarity "Weapon Wrap" for the Hunter Charr's Cunning Scatter Gun, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters, specifically added within update 6.0.0 alongside Season 6 on April 15, 2025. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Maw Trapper. It was made immediately free-to-use at the start of Season 6, unlocked alongside the majority of in-game cosmetics.^[1]
