Matthew Herral was a male Human who worked as a mercenary during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. He and several other mercenaries were hired by Sergeant Mack on Taris, but they refused to complete their job of scanning key structural points in the Sinking City when rakghouls killed a fellow mercenary. Mack instead turned to a Republic-aligned individual, who offered to help complete the job.
