The Mataou Grafted Shields were a pair of shields owned by the KX-series security droid Hunter K-A0S that she could wield for the Hunters of the Outer Rim competition on Vespaara as an alternative to her standard Grafted Twin Shields.[1] These shields bore the same general color scheme as the security droids once utilized by the Hutts who had settled on the planet Mataou,[2] and when combined, they prominently displayed the Hutt Clan insignia.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Mataou Grafted Shields was an "Epic" rarity "Weapon Wrap" for the Hunter K-A0S' Grafted Twin Shields, which first appeared in the competitive video game Star Wars: Hunters, specifically added within update 2.0.0 alongside Season 2 on July 30, 2024. It served as half of a cosmetic set alongside the Mataou Security Droid. This wrap could be unlocked by purchasing the Super Security Bundle within the Hunters in-game shop.[1]
