The father of the Bothan rebel Masi Qual was a male being. Prior to the rise of the Galactic Empire, he worked for the Bothan senatorial delegation on Coruscant. After the Empire came to power, he and his family fled to Bothawui, where he would often rant angrily about the Empire.[1]
