- "Why exactly Mas Amedda allowed for his own planet and people to be the victims of such corporate destruction might seem unclear, but he later admitted under New Republic interrogation that he had accepted ongoing bribes from both companies as well as significant percentages of their trading profits."
- ―The information cited to the note by Beaumont Kin in The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire
Mas Amedda, Interrogation Note #254 was a note taken during the interrogation of former Imperial Grand Vizier Mas Amedda by the New Republic following Amedda's surrender[1] in 5 ABY.[2] The note detailed Amedda's admittance that he had received ongoing bribes and a significant portion of the trading profits from both the Champalan Imperial Mineral Extraction Initiative and the Imperial Champalan Marine Resource Collective as they poisoned his homeworld Champala with corporate activity during the Imperial Era. The note was stored in the "Imperial Prisoners" section of the New Republic Archives and later cited by the historian Beaumont Kin in[1] his[3] book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire[1] which was published in 35 ABY.[4]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire states that thirty years have passed since the end of the Galactic Civil War and months have passed since the Battle of Exegol. As Star Wars: Timelines dates the end of the war to 5 ABY and the Battle of Exegol to 35 ABY, the in-universe The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire must have been published in 35 ABY.
