Marrev testing was a type of test used for measuring one's tactical intelligence. According to the official field manual for the Imperial Military, the Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide, one of the requirements for recruits into the Stormtrooper Corps by 0 BBY included a marrev testing result of 790 or higher.
