An individual served as a member of the Nihil pirates during the High Republic Era.[2] By 228 BBY,[1] the individual served as part of the Cloud led by the Nikto Marlem Glay, who liked to say she had joined the Nihil for one reason: to get rich and blow things up. At one point, the individual pointed out to Glay that those were in fact two reasons, resulting in them being shot in the face and killed.[2]
That year,[1] as Glay and her Cloud were undertaking a raid on the planet Baori Minor, she mentally recalled the time the underling had said her reason for joining the Nihil was actually two, and their subsequent death. She then added that as she also liked to say, there had been no discipline problems in her Cloud since the underling's death.[2]
Behind the scenes
Marlem Glay's underling was mentioned in the 2025 young-adult novel The High Republic: Into the Light, written by Claudia Gray as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase III.[3]
