Margon, nicknamed "the Red," was a criminal who operated as a pirate captain during the Galactic Civil War.

When Margon arrived on Providence, Almar Varangi Ferd decided to take over the space station. Manipulated by the Empire, he nearly triggered a war between the pirate crews, as the Imperial Navy waited for the possibility of a massive assault. A group of adventurers, forced to rest on Providence because of their ship maintenance, saved the city.

Behind the scenes

Margon was mentioned by Jean-Michel Ringuet in the ambiguously canon roleplaying aid "|Providence," which appeared in the French magazine Avalon 1. This captain appeared as the trigger of a scenario pitch called "War on Providence" (Guerre sur Providence, in French).
