Marcus Speedstar's racing team^[2] was a racing team formed by the racer Marcus Speedstar that consisted of him, his mechanic Oplock, and the astromech droid R4-D12.^[1]

Behind the scenes

Marcus Speedstar's racing team first appeared in "The Platform Classic,"^[1] the ninth episode of the first season of the television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on November 25, 2018.^[3] The team was first identified in Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition, a 2019 reference book^[2] and first pictured in "Meet Team Fireball", a video released on the official Star Wars YouTube channel.^[4]
