The mother of Mapo was a female individual. They and their partner were killed when the Galactic Empire bombed the refueling depot Golus Station during the Galactic Civil War. Mapo survived but was badly disfigured and ended up on an orphanage in Theed, the capital of Naboo. There, he befriend the Gungan outcast Jar Jar Binks.[1]
