- "Gideon Hask. First in his class at Coruscant Imperial University. Served with valor aboard the Mandate, receiving a battlefield promotion and the Crimson Star for exceptional performance against the enemy."
- ―Admiral Garrick Versio
The Mandate was a vehicle used by the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era. After graduating from the Royal Imperial Academy on[1] the Core Worlds[2] planet Coruscant at the top of his class, Gideon Hask served on the Mandate with valor. During his time aboard the vehicle, Hask received a battlefield promotion and was rewarded with the Crimson Star for exceptional performance against the enemy.[1]
At some point, Hask left the Mandate, later serving on the vehicle Advance as a TIE fighter pilot. By that point, Hask had served on a Star Destroyer.[1] In 0 ABY,[3] Lieutenant Junior Grade Hask was drafted into the Imperial Special Forces group Inferno Squad by Imperial Security Bureau Admiral Garrick Versio. When introducing the lieutenant to the rest of his squad, Versio recalled Hask's tenure on the Mandate.[1]
