Mandalorian gunships[2] were assault ships utilized by Death Watch, a warrior clan from the planet Mandalore,[1] during the Clone Wars.[3]

Mandalorian gunships was first mentioned in Death Watch's entry in the Encyclopedia,[2] a canon online encyclopedia featured on StarWars.com from September 13, 2011 until July 1, 2014, when it was replaced by its successor, the Databank, which the ships later received their own entry in. While the Databank claims that the assault ships appeared in the canon animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it includes no image of and limited details concerning them,[1] making it difficult to discern whether they truly did appear in the series or the Databank is in error. This article assumes that Mandalorian gunships did appear in the series, but makes no attempt to specifically identify them as any particular ships.
