Along with Concordia, the terrestrial planet Mandalore had a second moon which orbited around it.
Description
Mandalore's second moon was one of two satellites that orbited the homeworld of the Mandalorian people. Located within the Outer Rim Territories, more specifically within Mandalore space, the second moon would orbit Mandalore just as the latter would orbit around the system's sun.[1] It could not always be seen on the planet's surface, though.[3]
Behind the scenes
Mandalore's second moon was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a galactic reference book authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace. Published August 18, 2009, it was the first source to state Mandalore was orbited by two moons.[1] However unlike Mandalore's second moon, Concordia would go on to be explored in Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' episode "The Mandalore Plot."[4]
