An antidote existed for Manax-root poison, a deadly poison derived from the root of the manax tree on Neimoidia. The antidote was administered via subcutaneous injection.

History

In 22 BBY,[2] Senator Lott Dod poisoned fellow senator, Padmé Amidala with manax-root poison. The antidote for the poison was forcibly taken from Dod by Rush Clovis and administered by Amidala's husband, Anakin Skywalker.[1]
