The Malpassia system was a part of the Arrowhead region, in the Slice portion of[2] the Core Worlds.[1] It was home to[4] the Malpassian squid pine species.[3]

The Malpassia system was mentioned in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square L-10.[1]
