Magravia was a world located in the Magravia system,[1] a part of the Karthakk sector[2] in the Trailing Sectors portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated on the hyperlane known as the Llanic Spice Run, which connected it to the Llanic system as well as the Socorro system[1] in the Kibilini sector.[4]
Magravia was a notable spice-production site,[1] being the origin point of the spice variant known as the Magravian cat-spice.[3][5] As a result, the world was well-known to smugglers.[1]
Behind the scenes
Magravia was mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square Q-17.[1]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Magravian cat-spice in relation to the Magravia system, and specifically Magravia.
