A magnifier unit was a type of magnification device used during the High Republic Era.[1] In 132 BBY,[2] the meknek Verosha Aniseya had an illuminated magnifier unit mounted on on the workbench of her bunk on board the WD-2550 Whydah-class Yield Conveyer Fallon while working on board for the Trade Federation. The device had a circular lense mounted on a gray arm.[1]

A magnifier unit appeared in "Lost / Found,"[3] the first episode of the live-action television series Star Wars: The Acolyte, which aired on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.[4] It was first identified in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
