Magnaspecs were a type of spectacles. The Jedi archivist Mander Zuma owned a pair of magnaspecs that consisted of two pink-colored lenses inset with hezagonal frames that contained magnets to hold the frames in place once worn. The lenses emitted a low intensity red light when tapped. In 19 ABY, Zuma wore his magnaspecs while investigating a Bomu Clan warehouse on the planet Makem Te. Zuma later donned the spectacles again while taking off from Makem Te spaceport aboard Suwantek TL-1200 transport New Ambition, accompanied by the spacers Reen Irana and Eddey Be'ray.[1]
