The Kyuzo Maad-38 heavy laser cannon was a model of heavy, ball laser cannon which were built into the Galactic Empire's All Terrain Defense Pod as their primary weapon.[1] It was capable of punching a hole through medium vehicle plating.[2] The Maad-38 existed by 18 BBY. In that year,[3] AT-DPs were deployed into the invasion of Mon Cala.[4]
