Lyron was a Duros Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the reign of the Galactic Republic, training fellow Duros Teo Gronn as their Padawan.[2] In 22 BBY,[1] they participated in a strike team sent to rescue Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Confederacy of Independent Systems on the planet Geonosis.[3] Lyron perished in the fighting[2] when the rescue mission became a bloody battle that sparked the inter-galactic Clone Wars.[3] Fellow Jedi Master Oshi-Jid became the new master of Gronn but was presumed to be killed[2] only four months after the start of the war[1] in the Battle of Muunilinst.[2]

Lyron was mentioned in Only the Force, a 2004 stand-alone roleplaying adventure written by J.D. Wiker and released by the RPGA on behalf of Wizards of the Coast.[2]
