"Lungfung" was an infection of the lungs caused by airborne fungal spores. On Mimban, the swamp troopers of the Galactic Empire had to wear breath masks to avoid contracting lungfung. Those who neglected to wear their masks, however, had to undergo periodic lung cleanses.[1]
