"Lost Voices" was a song by the band Red Shift Limit that was released on the compilation album Dangerous Dreams. The record was available in the galaxy by the time[1] between the years 0 ABY and 4 ABY.[3] The song was banned by the Imperial Board of Culture, because Red Shift Limit's songs contained an anti-Imperial message.[1]
As Red Shift Limit was a band with a constantly rotating roster of anonymous musicians, speculation arose that "Lost Voices" was in actuality authored by a known pro-Rebel Alliance band, Hyperspaze and the Jump Lanes, under the guise of Red Shift Limit.[2]
Behind the scenes
"Lost Voices" was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 9: Fragments from the Rim, a supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game written by Simon Smith and Eric Trautmann and published in 1993.[1]
