The name of Lord Nyax was used by the Human male leader of the Cult of Lord Nyax during the Galactic Civil War. The man referred to himself as Lord Nyax,[1] an ancient Corellian ghost whose name was invoked to scare children.[3] The Nyax cultists were dangerous fanatics who worshiped Lord Nyax and sought to terrorize the citizens of Corellia.[4] After the Battle of Yavin, the man was leading the Followers of Nyax from the bottom level of his secret bunker on Corellia.[1]

Behind the scenes

Lord Nyax appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[5] Lord Nyax was added to the game with the "Publish 1" update, released on August 3, 2003.[6]
