The system was located in the Palamut sector of the Expansion Region.[1] Roark Garnet once claimed to have contracted the Merthian lung infection while on Lockest IV to stop Tax Inspector Mothra from searching his ship. Mothra, a hypochondriac, hastily ended the inspection without searching the vessel.[2]
