- "I was one of them. They don't like the fact that I left just to cash in on their location by providing others with their whereabouts. Say, would you like to know? Free of charge! I also know a little bit about other activities on this planet."
- ―Lock Vlash, to a spacer
Lock Vlash was a male Rodian who lived on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War.
Biography
- "AHH! Stay away from me! I didn't mean to--oh. You're not a part of Lord Nyax's Clan. What a relief! You scared me there. I am right, aren't I? You're not a spy, are you? ... are you?!"
- ―Lock Vlash, to a spacer
Lock Vlash once joined the Corellian sect known as the Followers of Nyax. However, he finally managed to leave the Cult. Although he successfully escaped, Vlash remained worried that some cultists could try to take revenge on him. Furthermore, the relations between Vlash and the Cult deteriorated even more when the former intended to sell the location of the Lord Nyax's Cult hideout.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] Lock Vlash met a spacer in the city of Tyrena and agreed to share the location of Lord Nyax's Cult hideout, but also the location of the Afarathu Cave and the Imperial Stronghold.[1]

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided — Herald NPC: "Lock Vlash" on Corellia
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
