A llim was an ancient type of lantern carried by patrols on Ithor,[1] a planet that was the homeworld of the Ithorian species.[2] By a time when the lantern's usage by Ithorian patrols was the distant past, some Ithorian males had "Llim" as a given name that translated to "night patrol warden."[1]

Behind the scenes

The llim was mentioned in the 2003 reference book Galactic Campaign Guide, written by Peter M. Schweighofer and J.D. Wiker and published by Wizards of the Coast for use with the Star Wars Roleplaying Game.[1]
