Lintu was Kar Yang's personal droid, who accompanied and assisted him on his bounty hunting missions. Lintu's body was humanoid, but his head was cone-shaped, narrowing to a rounded tip at the face, with red bands of optical sensors placed at the midpoint of the cone.
When Yang was hired by the Black Sun to capture the Human replica droid Guri,[1] Savan secretly had Lintu reprogrammed to spy on him and report back.[2] Yang succeeded in locating Guri on Murninkam, but the duo were unable to follow her to Spinda Caveel's laboratory, as Lintu recognised it was surrounded by a Full-globe class-one Imperial shield.[3] However when she returned to her ship inside the Kajiin Swamp, they remained hidden, and followed the Stinger back to Hurd's Moon; on the way Lintu explained to Yang that the droid Guri had to retrieve and deliver, was unique.[2]
Lintu was surprised that Yang was not attempting to attack her on her way, and Yang explained to Lintu that he had no intention of returning her to his employer. Guri was much more valuable than the bounty he had been offered. Yang planned to keep Guri for himself.[2]
Lintu waited until he believed Yang had gone to sleep, then reported back to Savan. But Yang had grown suspicious of his droid and overheard the conversation. When Yang and Lintu arrived on Hurd's Moon, Yang sent the droid ahead to scout and shot him from behind.[2]
Later Savan and Prevaro came to the Moon after Guri. Prevaro spotted the droid's remains, where Kar Yang had shot him.[4]
