Lily Langtree was a red-haired human female entertainer from the planet Kiss who served as an undercover agent for the Galactic Empire during the Rebellion era. She was stationed aboard Pegasus XIII, a lavish orbital station in the Vierge system often described as the "new Las Vegas" of the galaxy.[1]
Langtree was known for her beauty, charm, and intelligence. While her public persona was that of a flirtatious performer at Pegasus XIII, in reality, she worked covertly for Imperial Intelligence. She was tasked with identifying and entrapping suspected Rebel couriers and sympathizers traveling through the Lion system.
Langtree operated with subtlety, gradually gaining the trust of her targets before revealing herself. Her strategy contrasted with more aggressive operatives like Bob MacPherson, another Imperial agent assigned to the same station. If directly questioned about her allegiance, Langtree typically denied any Imperial ties, instead feigning disillusionment with Imperial policies to manipulate her targets further.
Her role was critical in the Empire’s broader effort to intercept a vital Rebel communication involving a mission to the system of Itkal.[1]
