The light exoskeleton was a type of power-assisted exoskeleton that functioned as light armor. It mimicked the major muscle movements of the wearer with mechanical impulses, giving him or her greater strength and reaction times. The armor was relatively new during the Jedi Civil War in 3956 BBY. A set of the armor was owned by the male Rodian Suvam Tan, who lived in the Yavin Station orbiting Yavin Prime.[1]

The Light exoskeleton appeared in the 2003[2] roleplaying game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Its appearance was identical to that of the Electromesh suit, which appeared in the 2004[3] sequel, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.[4]
