Lerux Talley was a human who worked as a tinkerer in the bazaar of Niima Outpost on the desert planet Jakku. He worked with the scavenger Rey and told[1] her[2] that he was from the Core Worlds, although she suspected that it was a lie.[1] He also provided her with information about a salvage job for Unkar Plutt, a junk dealer who controlled Niima Outpost, that involved transporting a damaged quadjumper back to the outpost.[2] By 34 ABY,[3] she wrote about Talley in a survival guide she compiled, calling him scrawny and little but describing him as her favorite tinkerer.[1]

Lerux Talley was first mentioned in Rey's Survival Guide, a 2015 replica journal written by Jason Fry.[1]
