- "Subject 24 is a manual laborer with a high fitness level. Administered stim 438 three days ago. Subject has had pronounced physical deterioration and will succumb to necrotic reduction within 30 hours. Observe and discard."
- ―White Thranta internal medical report.
Leon Kovalski, later known as subject 24, was a manual laborer who lived on Tatooine during the Galactic Civil War. By the time of the Battle of Yavin, Kovalski was captured by henchmen of the White Thranta Shipping Company in order to serve as a test subject for unethical and dreadful medical experiments. Most of the "subjects" did not survive the experiments.[1]
Behind the scenes
Leon Kovalski was mentioned in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] Leon Kovalski was added to the game as part of the "Legacy Quest" with the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.[3]
