- "Did you think I didn't notice the other ring broke?"
"Yes."
"Well. You were right. I didn't notice it was gone. But I noticed you were sad. And I figured it out." - ―Han Solo gifting the ring to Leia Organa
An Alderaanian signet ring belonged to Leia Organa which she wore during her time with the Resistance.[1]
The large ring was made of a dark-gold metal that fit Organa's finger perfectly with the gold snaking down to to showcase a round purple-blue stone at the base of her finger and then looped up to display a second stone past her middle knuckle. The ring was one that demanded to be noticed.[3]
Organa's husband, Han Solo, bought her the ring while on their honeymoon aboard the star cruiser Halcyon as a replacement for her amber ring made during their wedding ceremony that had broken. Solo picked out the ring as he'd liked the two different stones because one represented his wife while the other representated him and the gold reminded him of the amber vines used to create their original rings.[3]
