The Legendary Crimson Nova Pistol was an energy blaster pistol in use during the time of the Galactic Civil War. The weapon was of unknown origin, and according to legend, it had been wielded by various heroes in battles for centuries. Although it was very old, by around 1 ABY, the pistol was still in perfect condition, as if time had no effect on it.
Behind the scenes
The Legendary Crimson Nova Pistol appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2] The Legendary Crimson Nova Pistol was added to the game with the release of the the "Chapter 3," on September 27, 2006.[3] The weapon could be purchased from a faction recruiter by players who had achieved the rank of general.[1]
