A laser wrench was a type of wrench that could be used to remove starship components.[1] In 17 ABY,[2] the businessman Lando Calrissian utilized an all-purpose laser wrench for removing a panel under the console of his vessel Lady Luck while deliberately disabling the ship as part of a ploy to infiltrate the Smuggler's Run. Around the same time, the New Republic mechanic Cole Fardreamer used a laser wrench while working on the X-wing starfighter of the Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in a New Republic hangar bay on the planet Coruscant.[1]
