A male individual was the grandfather of the Humans Lanoree and Dalien Brock. While his grandson, Dalien, was a child, this individual passed a blaster pistol down to him. Dalien would continue to use the pistol throughout his life, and at one point used it to save his sister and himself from a silik lizard.[2]

Lanoree Brock's grandfather was first mentioned in Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void, a Legends novel written by Tim Lebbon. He was first mentioned as the former owner of Dalien Brock's blaster pistol.[2]
