Lander (individual)

Lieutenant Lander was a human male who flew alongside General Hera Syndulla, Captain Carson Teva, Lieutenant Baysee, Lieutenant Mowaat and Lieutenant Jensu in an unauthorized mission to Seatos. After the group detected the Eye of Sion, a massive hyperspace transport ring, exiting the atmosphere of Seatos, the group flew to cross its axis and block its path. The unit failed and suffered casualties with the Sion entering hyperspace through the group, with Lander's X-wing experiencing loss of control.^[1]

The group would soon land on Seatos' surface and search for Syndulla's friends, Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren. Despite a long search, the two were nowhere to be found. Eventually Syndulla's son, Jacen Syndulla, was able to sense Tano's presence through the Force. The Togruta was found barely conscious in the ocean with Jensu jumping in to rescue her. Lander assisted his colleague with lifting Tano to safety onto the ramp of Syndulla's ship, the Ghost.^[3]

Behind the scenes

Lander first appeared in the fourth episode of the Disney+ series Star Wars: Ahsoka which was released on September 5, 2023. Lander was portrayed by Brendan Wayne.^[1] Wayne also acts as a body double for Din Djarin in the Mandalorian.^[4]
