The Lan mining conglomerate was a mining conglomerate that operated in the ore-rich Lan system during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. However, through the machinations of Imperial Intelligence, the Empire acquired a majority stake in the conglomerate by convincing a number of shareholders to give up their shares.[1]
