"But I can help you. I can be your friend. Spare my life—leave me in my position here—and I can create a refuge where you'll be safe when it all falls apart around you—"
―Judge Lamos Chatoor, to Emperor's Hand Mara Jade[1]

Judge Lamos Chatoor of the Galactic Empire worked at a courthouse.[1] In 0 ABY,[2] Emperor's Hand Mara Jade visited the building to kill the judge after discovering that Chatoor had used his position to further himself and his supporters. As Jade prepared to eliminate Chatoor near the judge's desk, two gunmen entered a courtroom within Chatoor's courthouse and made their way to the site of the Emperor's Hand confrontation with the judge. They attempted to shoot Jade with their blasters; however, the Imperial agent deflected their shots, killing them. Chatoor then offered to create a refuge for Jade when the Empire fell, prompting the Emperor's Hand to kill him.[1]

Behind the scenes

Lamos Chatoor's courthouse appeared in the 2011 novel Choices of One, which was written by Timothy Zahn.[1]
