The chef Laizhu Bedenn once owned a moderate diner in the city of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine. At some point, Jabba the Hutt increased the pay Bedenn had to give him, which ended up resulting in the diner's closing after Bedenn could not pay Jabba what she owed him. Due to this, Bedenn resulted in working for Jabba in the kitchen of his palace.[1]
