"I couldn't have said it better myself. And that ends this session of "The Emperor's Court." Tune in for next week's trial: midi-chlorians vs. the divine Force—what should be taught in schools?"
―LU-L-N[2]

LU-L-N was an 8D smelter droid who served as a reporter for The Emperor's Court. After a trial for the murder of Greedo, LU-L-N interviewed the defendant, Han Solo, who lost the case and was sentenced to life frozen in carbonite. After the short discussion, LU-L-N directed him to the chamber and Boba Fett. The plaintiff, Neela, the mother of Greedo, was interviewed second. Afterwards, LU-L-N concluded the segment with a tease for the next episode.[1]

LU-L-N wore a red suit and sported fiery red hair.[1]
