The LC-50 laser cannon was a model of laser cannon that could be equipped to starships.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] the Trailblazer, an EML-850 light freighter, was equipped with a LC-50 laser cannon when the thief Kay Vess stole it from the Imperial Security Bureau Director Sliro Barsha's Westhill Palace in the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[1]

Vess eventually upgraded the Trailblazer and replaced its LC-50 with a LC-60 laser cannon and then a LC-70 laser cannon, providing increased rate of fire.[1]
