Kyr Uneris was a city on the planet Cato Neimoidia.[1] In 22 BBY,[2] a prisoner transport carrying former Neimoidian Royal Guard Ruug Quarnom, as well as four other detainees, crashed below the city. Quarnom was the sole survivor of the crash, which had actually been intended specifically to kill her, and survived in the wilderness near Kyr Uneris until she was covertly rescued from battle droids sent after her by Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.[1]
