The Kurosti merchant fleet[1] originated in[3] the Kurost system of the Mid Rim's Kurost sector.[2] At some point between 39 BBY and 34 BBY, Corporate Alliance forces under the command of the Harch military leader Trench captured the fleet during a daring raid at the celestial body Prospera Jang[1] in the Kurost sector's star system of the same name.[2]

The Kurosti merchant fleet was introduced in the 2012 reference book The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart.[1]
