The Krayiss Obelisk[3] was an ancient Sith artifact,[1] dating back to sometime prior to 28,000 BBY.[2] Housed on the planet of Krayiss II, the obelisk was used as the gateway for accessing a—likewise age-old—Sith library-temple. It was encountered by the Jedi Knight Vara Nreem when she arrived on Krayiss Two in an attempt to communicate with the Sith.[1]
